Hiking
Bring some good jogging / hiking shoes, right from the campsite there are well marked hiking trails, you can choose whether you want an easier or more demanding hiking trip.
Flora
Dovrefjell is known for its rich Flora since the beginning of the 1800s. In the National Park you will find Scandinavia's largest variety of mountain flora. You can see many of these plants / flowers
flowering spring and summertime.
Cross Country
Oppdal municipality has been named Sør Trøndelag Outdoor Municipality 2016.
200 km of pre-packed cross-country trails: Kåsen, Vinstradalen, Storlidalen, etc.
We can assist with Booking of Muskox Safari, we have
also our own mountainous guide/ranger, who drives directly
from the campsite. The tour will vary from 3 to 6 hours.
Bring good shoes (preferably good Mountain shoes), warm clothes,
packed lunch and drinks.
Fishing
The campsite is idyllically situated on the river Driva with the possibility of fishing Trout.
We sell fishing licenses.
Musk ox safari
Alpin
It is close to one of Norway's longest alpine skiing area,
the resort is a 15 minute drive time. There you will find Vangslia, Hovden and Stølen resorts, where there are 30 slopes spread over 4 mountains and 2 children's parks.
